BOOK REPORT

The Untold Story of Milk: Green Pastures, Contented Cows and Raw Dairy Foods by Ron Schmid a Naturopathic Doctor and Connecticut Dairy Farmer

At a Pennsylvania Legislator’s Luncheon August 2007, in a farm building in Lancaster County I met Amish Dairy farmers, Raw Milk drinkers, many of whom told remarkable stories about their health challenges and I learned about this book The Untold Story of Milk.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 After not drinking milk for about 30 years this book gave me the details of Why I stopped? why not to drink pasteurized milk and why and how to drink Raw, Fresh, Real Milk.                               Bottom line – shelf life and greed.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              Ron Schmid is not just easy reading but MUST reading for anybody drinking milk or anybody who wants to drink milk but think they cannot or suffers when they do.          Excellent web sites are: www.realmilk.com,     www.wapf.org,    www.rlocalfarm.com, and on Youtube “The Whole Truth about Milk: Raw vs. Pasteurized”.

If you do a search on you-tube for “The Whole Truth about Milk” you will connect with Mark McAfee, a California Raw Milk Dairy Farmer. “The Whole Truth about Milk” is a full length movie milk drinkers need to watch.
